Ceremony
There’s something incredibly special about elopements. They are stripped back, deeply meaningful, and focused entirely on the love between two people. Anita and Travis’ elopement was exactly that: intimate, heartfelt, and beautifully calm.
Their ceremony took place along the Bargara Boardwalk with sweeping views of the water. With the gentle ocean breeze and the sound of the waves nearby, Anita and Travis exchanged their vows in a setting that felt peaceful and personal. There were only five of us present, including the bride and groom, which made the moment feel even more sacred and intentional. No crowds and no distractions, just love, connection, and a whole lot of emotion.
Bridal Portraits
After the ceremony, we spent time capturing their bridal portraits across some of Bargara’s most stunning and diverse locations. We began at Bargara Beach, where the soft sand and ocean backdrop created a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. From there, we moved into Barolin Nature Reserve, where the lush greenery and natural textures added a sense of quiet seclusion and depth to their images.
We finished the session at a beautifully renovated old Queenslander, which brought a timeless and nostalgic charm to their portraits. The character of the home paired perfectly with Anita and Travis’ elegant yet down to earth love story, rounding out the day with a classic and soulful feel.
Anita and Travis’ elopement is a beautiful reminder that weddings do not need to be big to be meaningful. Sometimes, the smallest gatherings hold the most powerful moments. It was an absolute honour to capture such a deeply personal day and one I will always hold close.
